About the M/s relationship, When and How

Amy's Question: Did you begin the master/slave dynamic before you were married or did it happen later? Also, is this your first master/slave relationship or had either of you been involved in something like this beforehand?

We got married in 1993.  It was basically vanilla and egalitarian until 2011 when I started reading some BDSM porn sites and brought up the idea to him of spanking and doing more bondage.  We had done some of the latter, every now and then, but it wasn't a huge part of our sex life, only an occasional spice.   He said yes, he'd try it, so we started playing around with it a bit more, and I really, really liked it. I liked being submissive to him, and he liked it a lot too, getting his way in everything!   It just snowballed from there until I was his slave.  I'd say that process took about 3-4 months.    Neither of us had been involved in anything like that with another person before.  I didn't even know it was a "thing" that people did.
